Procyanidin A1
Procyanidin A1 is a type of procyanidin and is found in avocado, nuts and berries and may provide antioxidant activity as well as antiviral activity. Furthermore, some of its main metabolites have been shown to have prevention effects against (TNF)-α-stimulated adhesion of THP-1 human monocytic cells.

Procyanidin A1, A2, B1 and B2 are potential precursors of 5-(3',4'-dihydroxyphenyl)-γ-valerolactone. |
